League Successes
Belfast Softball Club are the most successful club in Ulster, with the club winning the SU league on 12 of the 17 seasons since the league started.
The Smokin' Aces won the league in the inaugural season of 2008 and again in 2010. The Aces have rebuilt their team a few times since and have had mixed results over the past few years.
The Brawlers came out of the shadows of the Aces in 2011, finishing top of the regular league but losing to the Sliders in the playoff final. Since then the Brawlers have gone from strength to strength winning the league in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2014, 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2022 they won the league with perfect records without losing a match.
The Cyclones won Div B of the Softball Ulster league in their inagural season of 2022, remaining undefeated in Div B. In their second season they established themselves as a competitive Div A team with some notable wins.
Club Successes
As well as the SU league, Belfast Softball Club regularly compete in Ulster and Irish tournaments and have won many trophies, including the prestigious Irish Open Softball Tournament (IOST) in 2023, becoming the first Ulster team to win this event, and then retained the IOST title in 2024.
Belfast Softball Club hosted their second annual Women's Indoor Softball Tournament on 9th March 2024. 7 teams entered with hosts BSC winning against Lisburn in the final.
Belfast Softball Club also hosted their first Coed Indoor Softball Tournament, Halloweendoors, on 26th October 2024. 7 teams entered with hosts BSC winning against Cubs in the final.
