The Cyclones were formed in 2022 as the newest team in Belfast Softball Club, along side the Smokin' Aces and the Brawlers. The team is composed of a mixture of transfers from the Aces and Brawlers and new recruits. In their inaugrual season the Cyclones won Div B, going undefeated, and won promotion to Div A for 2023.
In 2023 the Cyclones finished ahead of their more experienced clubmates, the Smokin' Aces. In 2024 the Cyclones continued to gain experience getting 4 wins over more established teams.
